Who we are

Boss Ice makes and delivers ice blocks in Lagos. We are based at Thomas Estate, Ajah. You can reach us on 0916 556 8802 (call or WhatsApp) or by email at Bossiceng@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you apply to become a distributor, we collect your name, phone number and area. If you choose to, you can also tell us what you do now and how you heard about us. We record that you agreed to be contacted.

When you message or call us, WhatsApp or your phone network handles that conversation under their own terms.

We also collect website usage data through Google Analytics, managed with Google Tag Manager (see Cookies and analytics below).

Why we use it

Only to contact you about becoming a distributor and, if you join, to work with you as a distributor. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Our legal basis

Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the application form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

Where it is kept

Applications are saved in a Google Sheet and sent to our Gmail inbox. Both are Google services, and Google may store data outside Nigeria.

Our website host may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

How long we keep it

Applications that don't lead to a partnership are deleted after 36 months. Distributors' details are kept while we work together and for up to 30 months after.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics, which shows us how people use this website, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are tapped. We may later use it to measure our adverts.

These tools only set cookies if you tap Accept on the cookie message. Until then, they run in a restricted mode: no cookies are stored on your device, and only limited, cookieless signals (such as that a page was viewed) are sent to Google. If you accept, cookies are set and usage data, including your device type and rough location, is sent to Google, which may process it outside Nigeria.

If you choose "Necessary only", no analytics or advertising cookies are set. We remember your choice on your device. You can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted, and you can withdraw your consent. Contact us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
